On Tuesday 16 December 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported that two suspects were arrested following a burglary in Luxembourg-Merl on Sunday 15 December 2025.
According to the initial information, at approximately 18.15 on Sunday police were notified of an unknown individual in the garden of a multi-occupancy residential building on Rue Johny Flick in Luxembourg-Merl.
At the scene, a police patrol established that a patio door had been smashed and two suspects were immediately apprehended. In addition, burglary tools were found by officers.
On the instructions of the public prosecutor’s office, both individuals were arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Tuesday 16 December 2025.
