The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Tuesday 16 December 2025, a man was arrested in Luxembourg City in connection with a conflict involving his former partner.
According to the police, around midday officers were alerted to a man who was reportedly present at his ex-partner’s workplace and causing a disturbance. Initial investigations revealed that the man had become physically aggressive towards his former partner, made threats and damaged furniture at the victim’s place of work.
A short time later, the suspect was located by police. Upon noticing the officers, he attempted to flee but was apprehended shortly afterwards.
Acting on the instructions of the public prosecutor, the suspect was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Wednesday 17 December 2025.
