The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of a man against whom a European arrest warrant had been issued.
On the evening of Monday 29 December 2025, a police patrol noticed two men near the main railway station in Luxembourg City, after officers observed one of them holding a white object suspected to be drugs. Both individuals were subsequently subjected to a police check.
During the inspection, various pills and drugs were seized from one of the men. Further checks revealed that a European arrest warrant had been issued against him.
The public prosecutor’s office was informed and ordered the man’s arrest. He was brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Tuesday 30 December 2025.
