Snow in northern Luxembourg on Friday 2 January 2026;

Luxembourg's national weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued a yellow weather warning (indicating "potential danger") for cold and snowy conditions across the Grand Duchy on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 January 2026.
A warning for cold weather is in effect nationwide from midnight until 10:00 on Monday and from 01:00 until 10:00 on Tuesday, with minimum temperatures ranging from -10 °C to -6 °C.
A snow alert is in place from 14:00 to midnight on Monday. During this time, fresh snow accumulations may reach 1 to 2 cm.
A previous warning was in place for snow on Friday 2 January 2026.
Update: MeteoLux later updated its weather warning which remains in place only for northern Luxembourg on Tuesday from 01:00 to 10:00. Minimum temperatures range between -8 °C and -6 °C.
