The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two people were injured as a result of a road accident on the N11 on the morning of Monday 19 January 2026.
According to the police, at around 09:40 on Monday they were informed of a traffic accident involving two vehicles on the N11 between Waldhof and Gonderingen.
According to the initial information, a driver travelling from the direction of Junglinster lost control of their vehicle, collided with a crash barrier and subsequently struck an oncoming vehicle.
Two people were injured in the accident, one of them seriously. Both were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
To clarify the exact circumstances of the accident, the Police Technical Unit was called to the scene.
The road was closed for the duration of the rescue operations.
