The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested on Wednesday 28 January 2026, following a physical assault and theft in the Luxembourg-Gare district.
According to the police, in the early hours of Wednesday an assault was reported in the Luxembourg-Gare district, during which the perpetrator became physically violent and sexually assaulted the victim before stealing her rucksack.
The suspect was apprehended following a search operation and was arrested on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
