On Wednesday 15 April 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported several incidents related to disputes, noise disturbances, domestic violence and public disorder across Luxembourg.
In most cases, the situation had already calmed down by the time officers arrived or officers resolved it on site.
In one case of domestic violence in Echternach, the public prosecutor ordered officers to issue an eviction order against one of the individuals involved.
On Monday 14 April 2026 at around 23:25, police responded to reports of a man behaving aggressively and harassing guests in a bar on Rue des Capucins in Luxembourg City. Upon arrival, officers found the man still acting provocatively and disrespectfully. Due to his intoxicated state and for disturbing public order, officers took him into custody after a medical examination to allow him to sober up.
Later that same day at around 23:55, police received reports of a man in Parc de la Chiers in Differdange who had allegedly exposed himself to a passer-by. Based on the description provided, officers located a suspect shortly afterwards and filed a report.
On Tuesday 15 April 2026 at around 04:45, police responded to reports of a fight at Luxembourg City’s main railway station. At the scene, officers encountered a man who was clearly under the influence of alcohol. As he posed a danger to himself and others, officers took him into custody after a medical examination to allow him to sober up.
