The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they carried out public transport checks in Luxembourg City on Monday 13 April 2026.
According to the initial information, the operation focused on safety and maintaining a general police presence on public transport.
During the checks, two individuals received on-the-spot fines, while reports were drawn up in two further cases due to violations of drug legislation.
In four cases, identity reports were filed and the individuals were subject to identification procedures.
A total of twelve police officers, including one member of the canine unit, took part in the operation.
