The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two individuals had been placed in custody following physical altercations in Wiltz on Thursday 8 October 2026.
At around 18:40, police received a report of a physical altercation between three people on Campingstrooss in Wiltz. According to initial information, a man struck two other people with a cable. A police patrol went to the scene and encountered a group of several men. Based on the description of the perpetrator, officers were able to identify him. During the subsequent check, another man from the group behaved uncooperatively towards the officers.
At around 00:45, police received another report of a physical altercation involving the same individuals. As two of the individuals showed clear signs of alcohol consumption and posed a danger to themselves and others, they were placed in custody following a medical examination. The relevant reports were drawn up.
