On Sunday 3 May 2026, T71 Dudelange won the opening game of the Women’s Enovos League finals series against AB Contern at the Centre sportif René Hartmann in Dudelange.
The teams were evenly matched in the opening quarter, with Shalonda Winton giving the hosts a three-point lead in the final minute with a shot from beyond the arc (25-22).
Midway through the second quarter, AB Contern allowed a decisive run by T71 Dudelange, who extended their advantage to ten points. Catherine Mreches played a key role during this phase, contributing fourteen points.
Tom Schumacher’s team dominated the remainder of the first half, shooting 60% from the field, including nine three-pointers and a perfect eleven-of-eleven from the free-throw line, to build an eighteen-point lead (60-42).
T71 Dudelange maintained their momentum after the break, continuing their offensive efficiency and ultimately securing a convincing 107-72 victory. The team converted sixteen three-pointers from 31 attempts overall.
Shalonda Winton led all scorers with 26 points, while Lauren Van Kleunen recorded a double-double with 24 points and fourteen rebounds. Catherine Mreches (19) and Svenja Nurenberg (11) also finished in double figures.
