On Saturday 22 August 2026, the Luxembourg leg of the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket 2026, Division B concluded at Centre Atert in Bertrange, with Portugal defeating Finland 65-57 in the final to secure the tournament title and promotion to Division A.
The Division B competition involved nineteen national teams split across three mini-tournaments hosted by Slovakia, Greece and Luxembourg. Bertrange hosted the second tournament from Monday 17 to Saturday 22 August 2026, bringing together Austria, Ukraine and Finland in Group C and the Netherlands, Portugal and Luxembourg in Group D.
The final day saw hosts Luxembourg defeat Austria 85-77 to secure fifth place in the Bertrange tournament. Ukraine followed with a 77-67 victory over the Netherlands to take third place.
The tournament then concluded with Portugal facing Finland in the final. Despite Finland leading for much of the game, Portugal overturned a nine-point deficit to win 65-57 and secure promotion to next year's Division A, alongside Greece and Belgium, winners of the other two Division B tournaments.
Portugal's Ariel Vicente was subsequently named MVP of the Bertrange tournament, having averaged ten points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game. Supporters of all participating teams also contributed to the atmosphere throughout the week.
