On Tuesday 29 April 2025, storage company MondialBox held a press conference marking the official opening of its new premises in Luxembourg-Gasperich (9 Rue Christophe Plantin).

Managing Director of Luxinov Sàrl (MondialBox licensee for Luxembourg), Denis Zago, opened the event and welcomed guests who included First Alderman of the City of Luxembourg, Maurice Bauer, Alderwoman of the City of Luxembourg, Corinne Cahen, and Government advisor to Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy, Head of the General Directorate for SMEs, Gilles Scholtus.

Denis Zago spoke of his journey establishing the storage company in Luxembourg in 2022 with premises in Roodt-Sur-Syre and of his ambitions to establish the business and expand throughout the country. He then thanked Eric Charles, founder of MondialBox, for his presence at the event, as well as his “vision and commitment”, which had allowed Mr Zago to develop MondialBox in Luxembourg.

Eric Charles subsequently addressed attendees, congratulating Eric Zago on the success of the business in Roodt-Sur-Syre, before providing background on the history of MondialBox, its roots in Nantes, where it was established in 2013, and outlined the company’s plans to expand into Europe now that it had established itself outside of France, in Luxembourg. In closing, he said: “Special thanks to Mr Zago and his wife for their confidence, as well as to all the stakeholders in the urban community of the Grand Duchy for their support. I am convinced that this new MondialBox centre will become a real asset for the city of Luxembourg.”

Gilles Scholtus then took the opportunity to congratulate Denis Zago and Eric Charles on the inauguration of the new premises. He stated: “I congratulate you on your second site. I wish you a good adventure.”

Alderman Bauer then spoke and noted the ingenuity and the benefits of the storage solutions provided by MondialBox in relation to Luxembourg City’s unique housing market and said: “We are very happy to welcome you here because the city of Luxembourg is always in search of investors who believe in our city, who want to implement themselves here and who advance the economic development of the city.”

The event concluded with a tour of the premises and a networking session, with food and refreshments provided by the hosts.
