The Luxembourg Commercial Internet Exchange Association (LU-CIX) has announced the programme for the 2026 edition of Luxembourg Internet Days, which will take place on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November 2026 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
According to the organisers, this year's event will focus on cybersecurity, sovereignty and resilience, bringing together experts, public-sector representatives and ICT professionals. The two-day programme will feature more than 40 presentations, three roundtables, three workshops and three side events, alongside an exhibition with 48 stands.
The opening sessions will feature Luxembourg's Minister for Home Affairs, Léon Gloden; Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Media and Connectivity, Elisabeth Margue; and Minister for Digitalisation, Stéphanie Obertin.
The cybersecurity programme will include contributions from experts such as Mika Lauhde of the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, as well as dedicated roundtables organised by CERT.LU and Women4Cyber. Workshops and presentations will address current cybersecurity challenges and emerging threats.
Three parallel programmes will also take place during the event. IT in the Healthcare Sector, scheduled for Tuesday and moderated by former National Health Fund (CNS) President Christian Oberlé, will address challenges and opportunities in healthcare, with contributions from Marc Hostert, the eSanté Agency and Sheila Becker of the Luxembourg Institute of Regulation (ILR).
Gemengen Dag (Municipalities Day), scheduled for Wednesday, will focus on digitalisation, sovereignty and security in Luxembourg's municipalities.
The programme for LUNOG, dedicated to network operations, is still being finalised and will be announced separately.
