On Thursday 16 October 2025, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable members of society, announced that it had received a €1,023 donation from students of the Atert-Lycée Rédange (ALR) in Redange-sur-Attert as part of their “Lead with Love” project.
According to the NGO, the students designed and sold sustainable T-shirts made from 100% organic cotton and printed locally at the school’s printing workshop. Stëmm vun der Strooss described the initiative as one combining comfort, environmental awareness and education.
For the cheque handover on Wednesday 15 October 2025, teacher Andy Schammo, who initiated the project, met with Director Alexandra Oxacelay and Communications Officer Bob Ritz of Stëmm vun der Strooss at the organisation’s headquarters in Luxembourg-Hollerich, where they gave him a tour of the facilities.
The donation will be used to modernise the “Schweesdrëps” therapeutic workshop, which offers sports clubs the opportunity to have their uniforms cleaned. Currently, 40 sports clubs, comprising more than 300 teams, use this service, according to the NGO.
