Credit: Stëmm vun der Strooss
Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, has reported that it received €1,400 in donations from the Harmonie of the municipality of Schuttrange’s annual charity concert.
The concert took place on Sunday 14 December 2025 in a Schuttrange church filled to capacity.
Conducted by Leroy Vandivinit, the ensemble presented a varied programme, reflecting the diversity of its repertoire. The musicians performed several works, featuring Baba Yetu by Christopher Tin, Avatar Soundtrack Highlights by James Horner and arranged by Jay Bocook, Moonlight Sonata (Beethoven Piano Sonata No 14 op 27/2, arranged by James L. Hosay), Nostradamus by Otto Schwarz, King Arthur by Hans Zimmer and arranged by Erick Debs, Fantasie über O du Fröhliche by Otto Schwarz and Christmas Joy by Georges Sadeler.
At the end of the concert, Stëmm vun der Strooss’ director, Alexandra Oxacelay, highlighted the importance of solidarity-based events such as this one. She expressed her gratitude to the Harmonie whose commitment contributed to supporting the association’s social activities.
