The Unity Foundation has reported that it has received a donation of €3,669 from the organisers of Luxembourg’s oldest road race, the Route du Vin, which is held along the Moselle River in September in Remich.

For the third consecutive year, in September 2025, the Unity Foundation participated in the running race with a team of volunteers, supporting more than 5,000 runners by staffing two of the race’s four refreshment stations.

José Azevedo, organiser of the Route du Vin event, presented a cheque for the donated amount to Fernand Schaber of the Unity Foundation.

According to the organisation, the donation will support its educational projects around the world. The amount is the result of individual donations from runners who took part in the 2025 edition of the Route du Vin, as well as a financial contribution from Urban Trail.
