On Thursday 15 January 2026, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that Renmans butcher chain is renewing its commitment for the sixteenth consecutive year to the non-profit’s social restaurants in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg-Hollerich and Ettelbruck.

Represented by Serge Jadin, Renmans approved the supply of 24 kilograms of meat to Stëmm vun der Strooss on one day each month from January to November 2026, amounting to a total of 264 kilograms over an eleven-month period.

The different kitchen teams will be able to collect their supplies directly from the Renmans butcher shop closest to their location.

To highlight this long-standing collaboration, on Friday 19 December 2025, Renmans invited Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, to the premises of its butcher shop in Foetz. Meeting the local team provided the opportunity to take the traditional partnership photo.

According to the non-profit, between the beginning of December 2025 the end of the year, Renmans donated an additional 300 kilograms of meat to Stëmm vun der Strooss. Reportedly, this donation enabled the social restaurants to continue offering high-quality meals, with an average of 450 meals served daily in Hollerich, 250 in Esch-sur-Alzette and 150 in Ettelbruck.

This initiative is said to be fully in line with Renman’s corporate social responsibility and aims to contribute to the preparation of more than 4,500 meals for people most in need. Based on an average portion of 120 grams per meal, this represents a total volume of approximately 564 kilograms of meat.
