On Monday 16 February 2026, the Fondation Majany, under the auspices of the Fondation de Luxembourg, marked Valentine’s Day by once again supporting the beneficiaries of non-profit organisation Stëmm vun der Strooss.

According to the non-profit, for the eighth consecutive year, Frédéric Loridon and Laurent Meiers, representatives of the Fondation Majany, distributed 700 roses to people experiencing hardship. The flowers were handed out at Stëmm’s various social restaurants, as well as at the “Saxo” day shelter, enabling the initiative to reach a broad range of beneficiaries.

Receiving a rose may appear a simple gesture, but it conveys appreciation, dignity and human warmth, a reminder that everyone matters, Stëmm vun der Strooss noted.

The non-profit expressed its sincere thanks to the Fondation Majany and the Fondation de Luxembourg for their continued support, as well as to Fleurs Vry for ensuring the early morning delivery of the roses.

Thanks to this initiative, Valentine’s Day 2026 was once again marked by generosity and solidarity, Stëmm vun der Strooss concluded.
