On Friday 19 June 2026, Enovos Luxembourg S.A. announced the presentation of a cheque for €1,500 to Trisomie21 Lëtzebuerg asbl, following the company’s participation in the “Lots of Socks Day” fundraising campaign.
According to Enovos, on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated each year on 21 March, the company encouraged people in Luxembourg to wear mismatched socks and share this symbolic gesture, in an effort to raise public awareness of Down syndrome and demonstrate its support for people living with the condition.
As part of this initiative, Enovos made a donation of €1,500 to Trisomie21 Lëtzebuerg asbl. This support will help fund projects and initiatives that promote the integration, independence and well-being of people living with Down syndrome.
The cheque presentation took place during an informal meeting held on Monday 15 June 2026 at the Enovos offices in Esch-sur-Alzette. Those present included Pia Peller and Martine Marthay, representatives of Trisomie21 Lëtzebuerg asbl; Max, the face of the “Lots of Socks Day” campaign; and Romain Mary, Head of Marketing & Communications at Enovos.
In a press release, Enovos thanked all those who took part in “Lots of Socks Day”, as well as Trisomie21 Lëtzebuerg asbl for its daily commitment to promoting a more inclusive society in which everyone can fully find their place.
