On Tuesday 1 September 2026, CFL Mobility announced the launch of the latest edition of its FLEX Charity Cars campaign, this year supporting "Op de Patten", an educational and social project operated by Solina Solidarité Jeunes.
From Tuesday 1 September to Thursday 22 October 2026, two fully electric Volkswagen ID.4 vehicles stationed at Luxembourg Central Station will operate as FLEX Charity Cars. According to CFL Mobility, 100% of the revenue generated by the two vehicles during the campaign will be donated to Op de Patten.
The project provides animal-assisted educational, therapeutic and psychotherapeutic interventions for children and adolescents facing emotional, psychological and social challenges.
Commenting on the initiative, Pit Reiter, General Manager of CFL Mobility, said: "With FLEX Charity Cars, our goal is to turn daily mobility into a positive social force. Our customers drive as they normally would, but every kilometer logged with these two ID.4s delivers direct financial assistance to young people who need stability and future opportunities."
Since its launch, the FLEX Charity Cars initiative has raised a total of €24,100 for Luxembourg charitable organisations, including Fondation Cancer, Fondation EME, natur&ëmwelt and Stëmm vun der Strooss.
Customers wishing to take part can book one of the two Volkswagen ID.4 Charity Cars at Luxembourg Central Station via the FLEX app. Standard rates apply, with the revenue generated during the campaign to be donated to Op de Patten.
