On Tuesday 13 October 2026, the National Youth Service (SNJ) reported on the first edition of the "Eraus an d’Welt: International Experience Fair", which it organised on Saturday 10 October 2026 in the Golden Square area of the Cloche d’Or Shopping Centre in Luxembourg-Gasperich.

According to the SNJ, visitors were able to discover the stands of seventeen exhibitors throughout the day. By organising the fair in this lively location frequented by young people, the service brought international mobility opportunities closer to them. A visit offered the opportunity both to find an initial idea for going abroad and to ask specific questions about a project already being considered.

The fair was aimed at young people aged sixteen to 30 and their parents. The exhibitors' offers covered four main areas:

  • Mobility support: information, assistance and guidance to choose a project abroad, discover European programmes and prepare for departure;

  • Volunteering and civic engagement: volunteering assignments in Europe and internationally, cooperation projects and opportunities to represent young people abroad;

  • Employment, internships and professional experience: opportunities for internships, apprenticeships and jobs abroad, including within European institutions;

  • Studies, training and exchanges: information on studying abroad, short- or long-term exchange programmes, training courses and language stays.

According to the SNJ, the information stands, interactive activities and recreational activities gave this first edition an open and accessible format. The exhibitors also expressed their satisfaction at the end of the day.
