The Irish Club of Luxembourg has announced that its annual St Patrick’s Day Gala Evening will take place on Tuesday 17 March 2026 at Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg City.

The evening will begin with a crémant reception at 18:30, followed by a gourmet three-course menu (including white and red wines) prepared by Chef Paul of Le Royal, and will feature live music from Alizeti, a showcase of Irish dancing by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Luxembourg and a tombola. Dress code is semi-formal.

The menu is as follows:

Entree

  • Smoked salmon parcels, arugula

Main Course

  • Grain-fed poultry supreme, Jus
    Pommes Dauphines Beurre Noisette, Glazed Carrots

Dessert

  • 70% chocolate delight with smooth geranium heart

A vegetarian option will also be available:

Entree

  • Leek vinaigrette with kiwi and orange, pickled red onion,
    Fromage blanc & mustard, leek oil

Main Course

  • Open ravioli with heirloom vegetables,
    Parmesan cream, crushed chestnuts and lovage emulsion

Dessert

  • Velvety salted butter caramel disc with candied kumquat

The club noted that it has a long history of fundraising for various causes, including the Dublin Simon Community, the Capuchin Day Centre, Stëmm vun der Strooss Luxembourg, Think Pink Luxembourg and the Ilula Orphan Program (IOP), as well as organising Team Ireland to participate in the annual Relais pour la Vie in support of Fondation Cancer Luxembourg. All excess proceeds from this year’s gala will go to the Ilula Orphan Program (https://iop.lu/).

Tickets cost €125 per person.
