Olm has a new culinary hotspot: Brasserie Elmen, which officially celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday 30 September 2025.
Located on the ground floor of the Maison Pour Tous (4 Groussgaas, Olm), in the beating heart of the Cité Elmen, the venue combines warm hospitality with a pared-back Scandinavian-inspired décor. Inside, guests can find an atmosphere that feels both modern and welcoming, defined by clean architectural lines, pale wood accents, and a bright, uncluttered design that invites diners to relax and linger. The aesthetic reflects the brasserie’s philosophy of simplicity done well, whether in design, service or food.
Guests at the launch event were welcomed with an assortment of drinks and nibbles, giving them a first taste of what is on offer. They could explore the brand-new brasserie in the municipality of Kehlen where ample parking ensures convenience for visitors arriving from near or far.
The menu is designed to please every appetite, from generous sharing platters and Alsatian-inspired tartes flambées to Luxembourgish favourites such as Gebakene Fësch, Wäinzoossiss, Kniddele mat Speck and the much-loved Paschtéit. Vegetarians and vegans will also find plenty of imaginative options, carefully crafted to ensure no one feels left out. Alongside the food, the drinks offering is equally enticing: an extensive wine list highlights both regional and international producers, while a wide range of creative cocktails and refreshing mocktails make it just as enjoyable for those who prefer alcohol-free choices.
The brasserie is open Tuesday to Sunday, with the kitchen serving from 12:00–14:00 and 18:00–22:00. The bar remains open until midnight, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed after-work drink or a convivial evening with friends. At lunchtime, diners can enjoy a weekly changing menu inspired by seasonal and regional produce, featuring dishes such as cassoulet de poulet or bratwurst with sauerkraut – simple yet flavourful meals that showcase the best of the season.
With its spacious terrace for sunny days, modern facilities to host private events, and its stylish yet welcoming interior, Brasserie Elmen is set to become a new gathering place for the community. Whether for a casual lunch, a celebratory dinner, or an evening drink, it offers something for everyone in Olm and beyond.
