LUGA asbl has launched a call for expressions of interest and plant distribution initiatives aimed at giving a second life to the exhibition's gardens, materials and equipment.
As the LUGA - Luxembourg Urban Garden exhibition draws to a close, many installations and urban gardens will remain accessible to the public, while others are seeking a new owner for a second life.
In this context, LUGA is launching a call for expressions of interest until Wednesday 22 October 2025 for installations that will need to be dismantled.
This call is open to institutions, establishments and public administrations, as well as associations and foundations based in Luxembourg.
Opportunities include:
- recovery of urban gardens or facilities for reconstruction on another site;
- donation of remaining materials;
- sale of technical equipment and materials;
- sale of furniture, electronic equipment and administrative materials (tables, chairs, computers, screens, etc.) after December 2025.
The full list of available materials and participation conditions is available online at https://luga.lu/fr/luga-recycle/
Expressions of interest can be submitted by 22 October via email to info@luga.lu
In addition, some of LUGA's flowerbeds will be removed after the exhibition closes. These contain numerous perennial plants that can be replanted elsewhere.
LUGA is organising free distribution of these plants at each exhibition hub, open to everyone - including associations, members of the public and individuals.
