The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) has announced that the Luxembourg men’s national team (Red Lions) will face Albania in an international friendly match on Saturday 6 June 2026 at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana.
The fixture will take place three days after Luxembourg’s home match against Italy, as part of the June international window.
Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00. Further information regarding ticketing for travelling supporters will be communicated at a later stage, noted the FLF.
Luxembourg and Albania have met seven times previously, including four matches in UEFA European Championship qualifiers and three international friendlies. Luxembourg have recorded two wins, one draw and four defeats in these encounters.
The most recent meeting between the two sides took place in a friendly match on 4 June 2017, when Luxembourg secured a 2-1 home victory.
