On Thursday 22 December 2022, Luxembourg's Ministry of Mobility and Public Works, together with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social and Solidarity Economy and the Ministry of Finance, signed an amendment to the job retention plan “Luxair Future Plan 2020-2023” . 

The Ministers, together with the company Luxair SA, representatives of the OGBL, LCGB and NGL-SNEP trade unions, signed the conclusions of the Luxair tripartite sectoral meeting of 26 September 2022.

It was agreed that partial unemployment for structural reasons will end on 2 January 2023. A new "early retirement-adjustment" agreement will be concluded between the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy and Luxair.

Teh statement mentioned also that employer and union representatives have agreed to end the wage freeze on 31 December 2022.

Finally, the signatories agreed to relaunch a new Luxair aviation sectoral tripartite in the event of a return of economic problems.
