On Monday 18 May 2026, Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) announced the appointment of Hema Jewootah as Local Managing Director of Lombard Odier Funds Europe (LOFE) in Luxembourg.
LOIM detailed Hema Jewootah will assume the role alongside her existing responsibilities as Global Head of Compliance at LOIM, effective May 2026. LOIM also announced that Cedric Intesse has been appointed Deputy Local Managing Director, in addition to his current Finance responsibilities.
Based in Luxembourg, Hema Jewootah and Cedric Intesse will continue to report to Adam Molina, Chief Financial and Operating Officer at LOIM and will work closely together to support the continued development of LOFE.
As part of this planned succession, LOIM announced that Mark Edmonds, who has served as Local Managing Director of LOFE for nearly sixteen years, has decided to retire at the end of 2026. LOIM noted that as LOFE’s first employee, Mark has played a central role in building and expanding LOIM’s management company operations in Luxembourg and has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s long-term culture and stability.
To ensure continuity, Mark Edmonds will work closely with Hema Jewootah and Cedric Intesse throughout 2026 to support a structured and seamless transition of responsibilities.
LOIM said this leadership transition reflects its long‑term approach to succession planning and its commitment to the development of experienced talents.
