On Friday 11 September 2026, Luxembourg’s Ministry of Justice announced the swearing-in of five new members of the Constitutional Court.
Mylène Regenwetter and Michèle Raus were appointed as judges of the Constitutional Court. Mylène Regenwetter's appointment will take effect on Wednesday 16 September 2026, while Michèle Raus will take up the position on Saturday 21 November 2026.
Françoise Eberhard, Béatrice Kieffer and Sylvie Conter were appointed as substitute judges. Françoise Eberhard's appointment took effect on Thursday 25 June 2026, while Béatrice Kieffer's will take effect on Wednesday 16 September and Sylvie Conter's on Saturday 21 November 2026.
According to the ministry, the swearing-in ceremony was attended by: Thierry Hoscheit, President of the Superior Court of Justice and the Constitutional Court; Francis Delaporte, President of the Administrative Court and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court; and State Prosecutor General John Petry.
