UNICEF Luxembourg Celebrates Cactus Partnership During Global Parents Month

UNICEF Luxembourg has announced that in October it will be present in Cactus stores across Luxembourg as the organisation celebrates its 25-year partnership with the Luxembourg food retailer and supermarket group.

UNICEF Luxembourg teams will be on site and ready to answer questions about their work and is hoping to grow the number of our regular supporters during Global Parents Month.

UNICEF Global Parents Month is a fundraising and public-awareness campaign run by UNICEF Luxembourg, focused on encouraging people to become regular monthly donors, known as Global Parents. This regular funding helps UNICEF plan projects over the longer term, respond more quickly to emergencies and direct money to where children's needs are greatest.

UNICEF Luxembourg said: “Regular support is the backbone of our work and helps ensure that UNICEF can be there when children need it, not only when their stories make the headlines.”

In Luxembourg, 3,739 new regular supporters joined the Global Parents family in 2025, strengthening a community supporting children worldwide.

UNICEF Luxembourg noted that their staff at Cactus locations are easily recognisable by their UNICEF clothing.
