Luxembourg non-profit organisation Chance4all Luxembourg Asbl has announced that it will host its inaugural charity gala, named "Africa c'est chic", at 19:30 on Saturday 12 December 2026 at the Meliá Luxembourg hotel in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, with proceeds supporting educational initiatives for disadvantaged children and young people in Zambia.

Founded in May 2026, the organisation aims to raise awareness of the challenges facing vulnerable children and young people in Zambia, particularly girls who face barriers to completing their education. The association raises funds to support the work of Chance4all's education centre in Lusaka.

The centre provides educational support and awareness workshops for more than 500 students annually, covering topics such as sexual and reproductive health, mental health, menstrual hygiene, climate change and the importance of remaining in school.

"Since 2017, we have seen first-hand in Lusaka how school support and our awareness workshops change the lives of young girls and boys. With Chance4all Luxembourg, we want to share this work here and help more students stay in school. On 12 December, every ticket counts," said Véronique Catany, President of Chance4all Luxembourg.

The charity gala will feature a walking dinner, a presentation of Chance4all's activities in Zambia, a raffle, a silent auction and music from a DJ. Guests are invited to wear cocktail attire with an African touch.

Tickets cost €100 at the early-bird rate until Friday 13 November 2026, increasing to €120 thereafter. All funds raised, after event costs, will go towards supporting Chance4all's activities in Zambia.
