On Sunday 6 September 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that three women had been arrested following a suspected burglary at an apartment building in Erpeldange on Friday 4 September 2026.
According to the initial information, at around 11:40, the homeowner informed police that a woman had repeatedly been entering and leaving the building while he was away on holiday. He had been monitoring the property via an installed surveillance camera.
When officers arrived at the suspected crime scene, they found three women inside the building. Police also noted signs of forced entry, and forensic officers were called to the scene.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the three suspects were arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Saturday 5 September 2026.
