On Monday 7 September 2026, around 100 people gathered for the annual “Lämmy Fouer Spill” prize draw at the Schueberfouer in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
Throughout the afternoon, Lämmy, the Schueberfouer’s official mascot, toured the fairground accompanied by a music group and distributed coupons allowing visitors to take part in the competition.
The draw took place near the fair’s main entrance, with a number of participants taking home prizes.
The event was attended by Luxembourg Deputy (Member of Parliament, CSV party) Maurice Bauer, as well as Patrick Muller, Vicar General and chaplain to Luxembourg’s fairground community.
Lämmy, the official mascot of the Schueberfouer, is a sheep character created by comic artist Emile Schlesser, also known by his artist name “Milli”. The character also features on merchandise sold at the Fouer Shop, with proceeds from the products donated to charitable organisations.
The sheep motif has a broader connection with the traditions of the Schueberfouer, notably the “Hämmelsmarsch” (sheep march), during which musicians traditionally parade accompanied by sheep.
