On Monday 19 October, Luxembourg's Grand Ducal Police reported several alcohol-related disturbances over the weekend, which led to the arrests.

According to the police, officers placed several individuals in temporary custody following medical examinations after they caused public disturbances and posed a danger to themselves or others, and drew up reports in all cases.

At around 01:14, police responded to a report of a heavily intoxicated individual harassing hospital staff at the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch in Esch-sur-Alzette.

Later, at approximately 03:15, officers attended an incident involving a person shouting in Rue de la Fail in Niederfeulen. Police described the individual as “heavily intoxicated and uncooperative”.

Shortly after 04:18, police received reports of three people causing considerable noise outside an establishment in Rue Aloyse Kayser in Schifflange. Staff had already removed those involved from the premises earlier that evening, while police had instructed them to leave the area. Upon returning, officers encountered one visibly intoxicated person who became increasingly uncooperative.

Another incident occurred at around 05:40. Officers responded to a fight involving several people outside a nightclub in Rue du Fort Neipperg in Luxembourg-Ville. According to the police, some of the involved persons subsequently confronted the officers, with one individual physically attacking them. Police restrained the person, who was heavily intoxicated and placed them in custody to sober up following a medical examination.

Another fight occurred at approximately 06:18 in Avenue de la Gare, near Luxembourg City's central railway station. Officers found one person with a cut to the nose. During police checks, another individual attempted to flee but officers pursued and stopped them shortly afterwards. Police reported that the heavily intoxicated individual strongly resisted their intervention.
