On Thursday 29 October 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that the body of an unidentified individual was found by a police officer in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Thursday morning.
According to the police, a police officer discovered an unresponsive person in a tunnel near the European Convention Center Luxembourg in Luxembourg-Kirchberg while on patrol.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office was duly informed, and an autopsy of the deceased was requested.
Further investigations have been launched to establish the exact cause of death and the identity of the deceased.
