On the afternoon of Tuesday 28 October 2025, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced no tram service is currently operating between the Nationalbibliothéik and Theater stops, in either direction.
The VdL has stated that municipal agents are on site and will guide passengers to the nearest bus stops where alternative services are provided by the municipal bus network.
No timescale for the resumption of the tram service has been provided.
