Luxembourg’s National Roads Administration has announced resurfacing works on the A1 motorway between the Mertert and Wasserbillig interchanges from around 20:00 on Friday 10 October until around 05:00 on Monday 13 October 2025.
The works are scheduled over the weekend to limit disruption to weekday traffic. During this period, the A1 will remain open but traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions, with a maximum speed limit of 70 km/h.
The Administration noted that preparatory operations to change the motorway’s traffic management will begin a few hours before the work starts; traffic disruptions are therefore expected from late Friday afternoon.
