Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in diesel and heating oil prices.
On Friday 17 October 2025, the price of diesel dropped below €1.4 per litre. Diesel now costs €1.393 per litre (including VAT), a drop of 1.9 cents.
Heating oil (10 ppm S (≥ 1 500 l)) prices have fallen by 2.0 cents to €0.821 per litre.
The price per litre of diesel for industrial/ commercial use now stands at €0.950 while that of diesel for agricultural/ horticultural use, etc. stands at €0.812 - both saw a price drop of 1.9 cents.
Prices for other fuels, including petrol, LPG and propane, remain unchanged.
