VdL Announces Temporary Closure of Avenue de la Faïencerie on 15 November

The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that assembly works for a tower crane will take place on Saturday 15 November 2025, from 06:30 to 12:00, in front of 52 Avenue de la Faïencerie.

As a result of these works, Avenue de la Faïencerie will be closed to all traffic between Rue Henri VII and Rue Melchior Bourg-Gemen. The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department will ensure that appropriate road signage is installed.

In addition, the following adjustments will apply to municipal bus services during the works:

• Lines 8 and 30 will be diverted via Avenue Victor Hugo in both directions;
• The Faïencerie-INL, Henri VII, Ermesinde, Uni Campus Limpertsberg and Batty Weber Quai 2 stops will be cancelled and replaced by the Theater, Lycée de Garçons and Alen Tramsschapp stops.
