Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in certain fuel prices.
As of Tuesday 16 December 2025, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 2.1 cents to €1.428 per litre (including VAT), while the price of unleaded 98 octane petrol remains unchanged at €1.569 per litre. The price of diesel has fallen by 2.7 cents to €1.385 per litre.
Home heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥1,500 litres) is now priced at €0.809 per litre, a decrease of 3.3 cents. Industrial and commercial diesel prices have dropped by 2.6 cents to €0.943 per litre, while agricultural and horticultural diesel prices have decreased by 2.7 cents to €0.804 per litre.
The price of LPG fuel remains unchanged at €0.691 per litre, as does the price of bulk propane for household use, which stays at €0.718 per litre.
