The City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) has announced that lifting works will take place on Avenue de la Faïencerie in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, on Saturday 7 March 2026.

According to the VdL, the works will take place in front of 96 Avenue de la Faïencerie between the hours of 07:30 and 15:00 on Saturday. As a result, the road will be closed to all traffic between building numbers 96 and 100 and there will be a no-through road between Rue François Faber and Rue Ermesinde.

The VdL noted that its traffic service will ensure that appropriate signage is put in place and that the diversion route is clearly marked.

In addition, the following changes will apply to public transport:

• Towards Lycée Michel Lucius: Bus lines 8 and 30 will be diverted via Avenue Victor Hugo. Stops Faïencerie-INL Quai 1, Henri VII Quai 1, Ermesinde Quai 1 and Uni Campus Limpertsberg Quai 1 will be suspended and replaced by stops at Theater Quai 1, Lycée de Garçons Quai 1 and Alen Tramsschapp Quai 1.

• Towards Fondation Pescatore: Bus lines 8 and 30 will be diverted via Avenue Pasteur. Stops Batty Weber Quai 2, Uni Campus Limpertsberg Quai 2, Ermesinde Quai 2, Henri VII Quai 2 and Faïencerie-INL Quai 2 will be suspended and replaced by a temporary stop in front of building numbers 119–115 on Avenue Pasteur, as well as stops at N.S. Pierret, Alfred de Musset, Allée Scheffer and Theater Quai 2.
