Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a significant increase in diesel and heating oil prices.
As of Friday 20 March 2026, the price of diesel at the pump has risen by 15.0 cents to €2.006 per litre (including VAT). The price of heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥ 1 500 litres) has similarly increased by 15.7 cents to €1.460 per litre.
Prices for diesel for industrial and commercial use and diesel for agricultural and horticultural use have both risen by 15.1 cents to €1.562 and €1.409 per litre, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has increased by 2.5 cents to €1.727 per litre, while that of unleaded 98 octane petrol remains unchanged at €1.830 per litre.
Prices for LPG and propane remain unchanged at 90.2 cents and 92.3 cents per litre, respectively.
Fuel prices have surged in several countries in recent weeks amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
