Michel Lucius has been appointed the new director of Luxembourg prison (CPL). His appointment was proposed by Justice Minister Felix Braz, and the the Government Council apporved the proposal at its meeting on 14 October 2016. He will take over from Vincent Theis on 1 November 2016 when Mr Theis moves into retirement. Since September 2012 Michel Lucius held the position of Deputy Director at CPL where he led the administrative, logistical and workshop departmenst. In his previous position as advisor to the Ministry of Justice, he was also involved in work on the implementation of prison reform in Luxembourg.
