On Wednesday 25 March 2026, Chronicle.lu attended a press preview of Lozamo's new pop-up store for high-end pet products in Luxembourg City.
Lozamo, a concept store dedicated to dogs and cats, opened a pop-up store on Grand-Rue in Luxembourg-Ville in early February 2026. This temporary space features a selection of accessories, furniture and clothing for pets. Lozamo previously operated exclusively online.
Items on display include wall-mounted cat trees, leather collars and leashes, ceramic bowls, travel accessories, dog coats made from recycled or organic materials, and themed merchandise for pet owners.
The concept emphasises products that are functional, visually appealing and sustainable. "With this pop-up store in the heart of Luxembourg City, we want to offer animal lovers a place where they can find beautiful, durable products designed for the well-being of their companions, while seamlessly integrating into their daily lives and homes," said founder Nassim Bellil.
Lozamo invited local media to an evening preview, offering an opportunity to meet the people behind the project and discover the store's origins and concept.
Speaking to Chronicle.lu, Océane explained that Lozamo is an Olry-Bellil family business led by her parents, Nassim and Stéphanie, alongside her uncle Ali and colleague Justine, who are involved in the website and social media.
The shop features personal touches, including photographs of visiting pets displayed in a heart-shaped arrangement, as well as a tribute to the family's late French Bulldog, Guizmo. Among the visitors on Wednesday evening were two little dogs, Persée and Aslan, with their respective owners.
Océane described the pop-up initiative by the City of Luxembourg (VdL) as a "good opportunity" in terms of increasing visibility and potentially exploring the idea of a permanent retail space. She added that the concept aims to fill a gap in the local market for premium pet products - sourced from European countries including Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal, with Luxembourgish brands to follow.
The name "Lozamo" is derived from Esperanto for "wave of love" and also plays on the French word "animaux" ("animals"), Océane shared.
The team also highlighted the importance of social media for visibility and brand awareness in Luxembourg.
The pop-up store, located at 14 Grand-Rue, will remain open until the end of July 2026. The opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00.
