On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026, six tennis clubs competed for the FLT Cup (Coupe FLT) titles in the women’s and men’s tournaments, which took place at the Centre National de Tennis (CNT) in Esch-sur-Alzette.

On Saturday, the semi-finals determined the finalists. In the women’s competition, Tennis Spora defeated TC Grevenmacher 5-1, while TC Pétange beat TC Arquebusiers 4-2. In the men’s semi-finals, Tennis Spora overcame TC Pétange after a 4-4 tie by winning more sets, while TC Esch secured a 6-2 victory over TC Schifflange.

On Sunday, the women’s final saw Tennis Spora defeat TC Pétange 4-0, with the tie decided after the singles matches. Luxembourg Billie Jean King Cup players Marie Weckerle and Lucie Rabiot gave Tennis Spora an early advantage: Marie Weckerle overcame Polina Bakhmutkina in three sets (7-6, 3-6, 7-5), while Lucie Rabiot beat Gina Veyder 6-1, 6-1. Deborah Kerfs then defeated Laura Correia 6-4, 6-2, and Caroline Daxhelet sealed the victory with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Helene Scholsen. As the result was already decided after the singles, the doubles matches were not played.

In the men’s final, TC Esch secured a 5-3 victory over Tennis Spora. Ugo Nastasi defeated Metti Reiter 6-4, 6-1, Olivier Mutis beat Noe Plique 7-6, 6-2 and Théo Herrmann overcame Can Ayral 6-1, 6-2, giving TC Esch a strong advantage after the singles matches. Luxembourg Davis Cup player Raphael Calzi earned Tennis Spora’s only singles point with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Antoine Monaco.

In the doubles, Ugo Nastasi and Théo Herrmann added another point for TC Esch by defeating Charles Berna and Noe Plique 6-4, 7-6. Raphael Calzi and Can Ayral then secured a win for Tennis Spora against Olivier Mutis and Ashot Mkrtchyan (6-3, 6-2).

With these results, Tennis Spora lifted the women’s FLT Cup, while TC Esch secured the men’s title for the 2026 edition of the competition.
