Luxembourg-based international professional women's association The NETWORK has announced it is organising an event dedicated to "Understanding Luxembourg's Personal Tax System" at Foyer in Leudelange on Thursday 25 September 2025 at 18:00.
The event aims to offer a comprehensive overview of Luxembourg's personal tax framework, designed to demystify the local tax system for both newcomers and long-term residents. It will cover the main rules of taxation, from understanding the different tax classes and how they affect one's personal situation, to exploring the general principles that shape Luxembourg's tax landscape.
The focus will then shift to practical deduction opportunities, where Foyer experts will walk attendees through real-world examples relevant to both employees and self-employed individuals. Attendees will also learn about commonly overlooked deductions, understand which expenses qualify and discover strategies for optimal tax planning.
According to the organisers, attendees will leave the event with: a clear understanding of how Luxembourg's tax system works; practical knowledge of available tax deductions;
strategic insights for tax optimisation;
resources for further information and support.
