The Regional Tourist Office of the Mullerthal Region (Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland) has launched a new Mullerthal Attractions Map alongside other leaflets highlighting the region’s main tourist attractions.
This overview map aims to serve as a practical tool for Tourist Information offices and tourism businesses to show guests where they can go and what they can experience.
Alongside the map, the region also offers the “Mullerthal Trail Partner - we are hiker-friendly” brochure. This pocket sized publication lists all Mullerthal Trail Partner businesses. These partners provide hiking-friendly services tailored specifically to walkers and the brochure includes information on accommodation providers, restaurants, retail shops, tourist attractions and Information offices.
The Tourist Office of the Mullerthal warned that the weather conditions may occasionally lead to temporary closures or diversions on hiking trails throughout the region. They noted that the forestry team of the Comité National de Défense Sociale (CNDS) works regularly on site and aims to repair any damage as quickly as possible.
They also added that visitors and partners can help to maintain trail quality by reporting irregularities, such as damaged signs or posts or missing markings, to quality@mullerthal.lu.
