Luxair has reported that four of its flights were diverted on Sunday 8 February 2026 due to reduced visibility caused by fog at Luxembourg Airport.

According to the airline, the affected flights were LG8012 (Paris Charles de Gaulle to Luxembourg), LG6552 (Rome Fiumicino to Luxembourg), LG592 (Naples to Luxembourg) and LG962 (Enfidha to Luxembourg). As a result of the weather conditions, the aircraft were diverted to Liège (LGG) and Brussels (BRU), where they landed safely.

Luxair noted that the weather-related disruptions have had a significant impact on operations and may lead to knock-on effects across its network. The airline said it is closely monitoring the situation and taking all necessary measures to minimise disruption while ensuring passenger safety.

The airline added that it was closely monitoring the situation and taking all necessary measures to minimise disruption while ensuring passenger safety. It also advised passengers to check the status of their flight before travelling to the airport and to allow sufficient time for their journey, noting that any changes would be communicated directly using the contact details provided in the booking.

Luxair apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked passengers for their understanding, stressing that while it “makes every effort to maintain regular flight operations”, safety “remains the airline’s top priority”, adding that weather conditions may occasionally affect operations despite all efforts to keep schedules running normally.
