Before joining BIL, he served as CCO at ING Luxembourg for six years and held several senior legal, compliance and business leadership roles throughout his career. A qualified lawyer, he holds a Master's degree in Law from the Université Catholique de Louvain, as well as professional certifications in Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering.

Melanie Babb and Michaël Bonnier have made significant contributions to BIL’s development since joining, noted that bank. Commenting on the appointments, Jeffrey Dentzer, CEO of BIL, said: "Both Melanie Babb and Michaël Bonnier have made significant contributions to BIL’s development since joining the Bank.
