The Opderschmelz cultural centre in Dudelange host Celtic group The Outside Track and their This is The Essence of Irish & Scottish Christmas show on Sunday 7 December 2025, at 20:00.
The Outside Track consists of members Mairi Rankin (fiddle), Ailie Robertson (harp), Fiona Black (accordion) and Teresa Horgan (flute) who have performed together for over ten years.
The organisers describe the group as “virtuoso musicians with immense energy who have brought every hall to the boil with their jigs and reels”. They will bring these customs and traditions to life with their refreshing and creative interpretation of Celtic music with a performance which will feature “exuberant playfulness, impressive virtuosity, tap dance interludes, unconventional arrangements and singers with unique voices”.
