Rotondes will host KnowEdge's "Open Floor: Breaking" session on Monday 29 June 2026 at 18:00.
The event invites participants aged 16 and over to take part in a breaking freestyle cypher open to dancers of all levels. Whether refining their style, exploring new movements or simply enjoying the music, participants are encouraged to join an informal session focused on creativity, exchange and community.
Breaking emerged in the early 1970s as one of the four pillars of hip-hop culture, alongside DJing, MCing and graffiti. Pioneers including DJ Kool Herc and the Rock Steady Crew helped shape and popularise the dance style.
First-time participants can attend free of charge. Organisers advised participants to check KnowEdge's Instagram stories before attending for any schedule changes or event updates.
